"The difference between successful people's and others is how long they spend time feeling sorry for themselves". ~Barbara Corcoran
Happy Monday! Well I'm not exactly happy it's Monday considering the time jumped forward and now I'm going to be running around like a lost child in a frenzy for the next two weeks adapting to the change. But on a brighter note, Spring is almost here!
Now back to the quote. Not only do I set daily goals for myself, I like to set weekly goals as well. This weeks goal? To take baby steps to work on my Imposter Syndrome. Yes, you read that correctly, I wasn't familiar with the term either until I was having an emotional breakdown last week venting to a friend. Thanks Diana for always listening to my 101 problems ;). So what exactly is "Imposter Syndrome"?
Impostor syndrome (also known as impostor phenomenon or fraud syndrome) is a concept describing high-achieving individuals who are marked by an inability to internalize their accomplishments and a persistent fear of being exposed as a "fraud".
The past several months have been quite the whirlwind for me business wise (in a good way) and unfortunately I haven't prepared myself for all of the acknowledge that was bound to come with all of my hard work I've been putting in. This weeks small goal is to celebrate all of my small wins because I deserve it!
Do you suffer from Imposter Syndrome? Look it up and then give me your take!
